I adored Hillary instantly when we chatted about her wedding the summer before it took place. I knew we would be able to collaborate to create the exquisite wedding she was envisioning; a jaw dropping, magical, gorgeously styled Tiffany blue wedding! Hillary and her fiance Jake met in college and fell deeply in love. Living in Arizona, the couple knew they needed a coordinator who could work with them closely to bring their vision to life.
We started planning right away. We began collecting inspiration on our Pinterest boards and scouting and securing the perfect vendors for their day. Not only was their style beautiful, but the bride and groom were too. Hillary and Jake were so lovely together and I think…yes…picture perfect!
Hillary and her ladies began their day at the breathtaking Estancia Resort while Jake and his fun loving bunch of groomsmen prepped at a beach house rental. The group came together after the couples’ sweet and intimate “first look” photos at Estancia.
Meanwhile, at the beautiful Seaside Scripps Forum venue, Raphael’s set up the romantic lighting and rentals that dressed up this ocean front beauty. We brought in a color palette of white with Tiffany blue linens and handcrafted touches throughout. There were elements of shabby chic style in the carefully crafted photo display, sign in board, and print materials.
The couple had their closest family and friends in their bridal party. Their nephew, the ring bearer, decided to quit the show when he saw many sets of eyes on him. It was hilarious seeing him look, smile, let go of the flower girls hand and run away, in his own way saying “no thanks!” Besides that small change, everything for Hillary and Jake’s ceremony was simply perfect. Kenneth Day officiated the beautiful ceremony with his creative way of moving to the aisle so the focus could be purely on the couple.
Whimsey Floral created the delicate sea-themed arrangements which adorned the tables in the reception room. Personal elements brought in by the bride herself included table numbers that were years in frames with photos of the couple from that year. The bride and her mom created a ladder with a collage of family photos from both sides!
Acqua Photo was a joy to work with! From the moment we saw the couple’s engagement photos, we were very excited to work with this husband and wife team. Not only do they create beautiful photography, they were fun to have around on the wedding day!
CUPS baked the delicious cupcakes which looked great with the couple’s customized cake topper which, like their toasting goblets, looked just like them!
Peartrees provided the fun food stations and late night snacks while Guiseppe Catering tended bar. Dennis of Premier Entertainment provided the lively party music that the couple and guests loved dancing to. The DJs were so great, no one wanted to leave at the end! We adore this couple and we wish Hillary and Jake the very best!
