Liza and Michael were married on a crisp autumn afternoon on the golf course of the prestigious Morgan Run Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe. The bride and her beautiful maids prepped for the day at a nearby friend’s home in Rancho Santa Fe. This chic bride had her own stylists, Brian Bond and Brandon Montillas, on site to get her ready for her dream day.
Jolie Fleur Del Mar created a flawless floral design out of petals that spanned the length of the aisle, leading up to two large arrangements to frame the bride and groom as they recited their vows. The Priest, Bill Murphy of Memorable Marriages, officiated the ceremony perfectly. Guests could really feel the love when the groom shed tears of joy while looking at his beautiful bride. Close family members, including the bride’s son, participated in a unity candle lighting during this emotional ceremony.
Liza, ever the busy bride, collected many of the items we set out on the wedding day including unique stemware that lent an air of decadence. The goblets were used for candles that lit room in a soft warm light. APR linens dressed up the tables with silky textured cream linens and glass chargers with gold embellishments.
The set room was stunning and exactly what the bride had envisioned. Eccentric International Cakes designed the gorgeous cake, finished with sparkling brooches collected by the bride. The cake table was draped with a feathery pink linen. Romantic candlelight and a photo of the bride and groom surrounded the masterpiece.
This wedding was a truly family affair, with Liza’s talented mother creating her bouquet and setting up some decor items. The groom’s mom set up an amazing dessert table full of delectable baked goods including traditional Italian cakes, cookies and cannolis, some from Little Italy and some that she lovingly baked herself. The tiramisu was a favorite and a line formed around this delicious table! The entertainer, Tad Sisler emceed the reception. His unique blend of singing – what a wonderful voice he had! – and DJing was a hit with guests. His energy was up and everyone had a great time dancing to his selections.
We wish Liza and Michael the very best in their new life as husband and wife!
