Allie and Adrian’s dream came to life at their 1940s inspired wedding. Humphrey’s by the Bay, a picturesque location, was the setting for their lovely day. The day was gorgeous.
The weather was warm and tears were flowing as Allie followed her bridesmaids down the aisle, all of them looking as if they came straight out of the early 20th century from head to toe thanks to their stunning wardrobe as well as beauty done by Ellie from A New Twist.
Sweet Ribbon Events did a wonderful job creating a beautiful floral arrangement adorning the arch as well as lanterns embellished with peach colored roses and various spring flowers that lined the aisle.
Andrew Kipp, the officiant, kept the mood light and fun just like the couple, during the ceremony. At the ceremony’s conclusion, cheers rang out and bubbles flew and the guests made their way to cocktail hour, held at the same location as the reception.
As guests arrived, they found a beautiful vintage door with their names on it leading them to their tables. On the guest book table, attendees signed records with metallic markers for the bride and groom to keep as a memory forever.
Tables, put together by Sweet Ribbon Events as well, were a simple and lovely white with lace overlay. In the center of each table were beautiful floral arrangements accented with branches and candles.
A highlight of the reception that even the bride and groom were surprised by was a flash mob organized by the maid of honor!
Guests were surprised and amused when music blasted by Bruce Battleson of Battleson Entertainment played while a group formed on the dance floor to perform an upbeat dance for the newlyweds. The lace design of the cake by talented cake artists at The Grove Bakery matched the lace design on the tables and was a delicious blue to match the bridesmaid dresses!
Skip and Heather, talented photographers of Shadowcatcher Imagery brought the 1940s vision into stunning images of the day. The cherry on top was a fantastic vintage getaway car for the couple, which was used as an amazing backdrop for many photos!
Allie and Adrian were extremely pleased with the lovely aspects of their 1940s day and we wish them both the best!
