Happily Ever After

As guests start to arrive they step out of reality and stepped onto the wooden ballroom floor in the historic El Cortez Don Room. They looked up to admire the exquisitely designed ceilings made of gold and adorned with chandeliers. This historic ballroom has been the host to San Diego’s finest events, but on this summer day in 2016 this ballroom belonged to Christina and Ryan. The vendor team made sure the room was never less than perfect. The room was decorated with lush floral to compliment the burgundy and gold ceilings.

As guests began to take their seats the bridal party started to prepare for the big walk down the aisle. Just when the party was about to begin the cutest thing happened – the ring bearer, about two years old got nervous, tossed his pillow and ran the other way. Thankfully his mother was able to guide him on the right path. The guests loved this! Christina and Ryan’s wedding was officiated by their good friend, Ryan Fusco who did an outstanding job. Who better to marry the couple than one of their life long friends?

The ceremony site arch was dripping with gorgeous flowers from Sweet Ribbon Events. Laura, the owner is so talented and did a fantastic job! She also dressed up the ballroom very exquisitely.

We enjoyed working alongside with Bob Hoffman Photo’s team: Bob, Tara and Emily. These photographers not only have an amazing product but are fun to work side by side with. Their friendly, calm demeanor and authentic personalities make each wedding a joy; especially for the couple! Tara happens to be really great friends with the mother of the bride.

We can’t forget the cuisine! The guests enjoyed mouth-watering appetizers and dinner by Continental Catering while Best Beverages provided the bar.

Bruce of Battleson Entertainment had everyone on the dance floor as usual enjoying every minute of the evening.

The stunning 4-tiered cake was designed by The Grove. Sitting to the left was personalized signage that Christina had incorporated. The signage read, “ All you need is love, and a little cake.” The unique signage was placed throughout the entire room to express the couple’s own touch. We loved that the couple also chose to honor the family closest to them that had passed. It was such a warm reminder how much they meant to everyone and how much they would have liked to have been there to see Christina and Ryan’s special day.

As the guest’s feet began to tire one by one they trailed off leaving Christina and Ryan to a moment that will never be forgotten.

What’s next?

Happily ever after.
