I was thrilled to come on board for Dan and Stephanie’s wedding design and planning! Not only did this couple love Disneyland but Dan also proposed to Stephanie in front of the castle..so romantic. We adored creating this Disney styled wedding and enjoyed every part of the planning as much as they did.
From the moment the guests entered everything was perfect. The Japanese Friendship Gardens was the venue where the magic happened and it was a gorgeous day. Guests picked up customized wedding programs designed as a Disney brochure of course.
The ceremony was officiated by Deborah Young and it was so special to hear the couple exchange vows in front of their closest family and friends.
The breathtaking floral by TessFresh finished the look of the ceremony site with an exquisite arch, lovely bouquets, and beautiful centerpieces inside for the reception. The ballroom was completed with linens from A Perfect Table and Chairs by Sweet Ribbon Events.
Guests entered and picked up a fast pass which was their place card directing them to their “ride” …their table of course which were all themed as different Disney attractions. These fast passes and table names were also designed by the beautiful bride herself!
Side by Side Cinema provided video coverage of the event. Here is the highlight! Jared and Danielle were great to work alongside with. Their relaxed personalities along with their impeccable service is what makes them one of the best videographers in San Diego.
The dinner was family style with a mix of delicious seafood and sides cooked onsite by Encore Catering. Encore Catering was very attentive to the guests throughout the event and their food was scrumptious. We enjoyed teaming up with them and loved how great their team was the entire night. The delectable cake by Edelweiss Bakery was completed with a fun Disney cake topper.
Vynce of Music Preek provided the music and emceed the wedding, complete with a fluent Vietnamese translator for those guests who traveled so far for this special day. Guests had a blast in the photo booth by Shutterbooth.
An important part of the night was when Dan and Stephanie greeted their guests. The couple visited each table and were gifted with red envelopes …monetary gifts and finished with shots with each table. This was especially fun for the groom, who wasn’t a big drinker!
Everyone had a fabulous time at Dan and Stephanie’s wedding and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for allowing At Your Side Planning to help design and coordinate the first event of their lives together as Mr. and Mrs. Kieffer!
