This beautiful March wedding began with Natalie and her entourage getting ready at Rebel Rebel Salon in Oceanside, California. The day could not have been anymore gorgeous with the sun shining brightly and family gathering to celebrate the happy couple! The bride’s talented cousin, Alyssa joined the ladies at the salon to provide her makeup services. Nathan and his groomsmen gathered at the Gentlemen’s Den Barber Shop for fresh haircuts and relaxation.
The couple came to San Diego from New Mexico to share their wedding day with those closest to them and it could not have been any more perfect. The fabulous photography team from Hoffman Photo started separately with each group and captured all the day’s events. The bride’s family is actually close friends with Bob and Tara, the owners of Hoffman Photo so it made the day even more special. San Diego Limo and Bus transported the bridal party around for photos and they had a fabulous time.
The wedding ceremony was held at the breathtaking location of San Onofre beach on the Camp Pendleton military base with a reception following at The Wedge.
Many of the groomsmen were in the military and Natalie’s brother was in the coastguard so the couple chose patriotic colors for their wedding!
The arch of sabers following the ceremony recessional was an extra piece that highlighted the day. Bruce of Battleson Entertainment provided the music and emcee service throughout the event and as usual, did an amazing job!
The groom’s brother, Sean officiated the wedding ceremony as a special added touch to the big day. The groom’s daughter, Kelani held the role of Jr. bridesmaid which was a very memorable part of the intimate and sweet ceremony.
The stepmother of the groom, Susan designed gorgeous hanging floral arrangements for the arch that were spectacular.
Inside the dinner reception, she also created a very yummy doughnut bar. The couple opted to cut their doughnut with one of the swords from the arch of sabers which was an absolute blast!
The cocktail hour and reception food from Epic Eatz was delicious; while beverages were provided by Schlotzky’s Bar Service. Royalty staffing provided servers for extra hands and we truly appreciated the extra help. The beautiful floral bouquets and arrangements from Travis Payne adorned the day.
The cocktail hour was fun with jenga blocks as the guest book and corn hole games which were especially fun for the children. The couple also had glow sticks passed out the dance floor with the help of coordinator Kendra and all of the children. The guests loved this!
The wedding day for Natalie and Nathan represented them – fun, fabulous and relaxed. At Your Side Planning loved being a part of this milestone and wish them a lifetime of happiness!!
