The intimate wedding of Eunice and Allan was celebrated in one of the prettiest areas of California – Coronado Island! These military love birds started their day with exchanging their vows at the NASNI Main Chapel on the North Island military base with their bridal party which included two adorable flower girls and ring bearers .
The chapel was charming and made the wedding ceremony so beautiful. Music for the ceremony was provided by the couple’s close friend Tom Reich and was officiated by Will Christians. After sealing their vows with a kiss the couple exited the chapel in style by walking under a sword arch created y groomsmen in uniform; a military tradition that looked fabulous!
Cocktail Hour was held on the lawn of the I-Bar. The bar itself was pretty unique with lots of great decor that included cups hanging from the ceiling and signage that read, “he who enters covered here shall buy the bar a round of cheer!” Guests had a great time playing cornhole and jenga during the cocktail hour from Cedar and Pine rentals.
For their first dance as a married couple the bride changed out of her ceremony dress and into something a little more fun for a choreographed swing routine with her new husband!
The bride herself put a lot of her artistic skills to work by creating unique decor. She even built the himmelis to incorporate into the beautiful glass terrariums filled with greenery at the center of each table. These gorgeous florals by Natasha of La Belle Bloom dressed up the room perfectly!
Erin Palermo, a close friend of the bride, created the perfect cake to go along with the amazing design of the reception!
The place cards for each guest were hand written in elegant calligraphy, by the bride herself, on marble tiles as a personalized favor for guests to take home – they were also magnets. A table honoring the couple’s military guests unable to attend because of active duty was included; along with their favorite brewskies!
The guests had a pleasant time on the dance floor with music provided by Dancing DJ Productions for both the cocktail hour and reception. The anniversary dance was a wonderful time to honor those married couples in the crowd and congratulate the couple who had been married the longest.
Blue Spot Photography captured all these special moments caught throughout the wedding day to be shared for a lifetime. We were honored to coordinate such a special day for Eunice and Allan and wish them a marriage of love and happiness!
