When we began the design with bride Claudia nearly a year ago, we adored everything she had envisioned. We loved the venue space; it was perfect for her idea of a garden like setting with an urban feel. It was also a beautiful concept in which to incorporate elements from the couple’s faith to complete a very perfect and original design.
Imagine the illuminated warehouse filled with a plethora of lavish floral arrangements, terrariums, and candlelight lining the stage. A wooden cross stands in the center of it all, draped in flowers, awaiting the bride and groom for the ceremony.
The tastiest food stations, an extravagant dessert table, and farmhouse tables where many of the couple’s closest family and friends are seated to celebrate with them were some of the event’s highlights for the wedding of Ricardo and Claudia!
The Morning of the Wedding
Claudia and her ladies began the day together at the Inn at the Park in San Diego. Bee Lopez provided the makeup services for the ladies, while Sarah Ortega of Hair Spray Studio worked on creating beautiful hairstyles.
Top Dog Limo picked up the bridal party at their hotel and transported them all to Balboa Park for the couple’s first look and bridal party photos!
The ceremony was exceptional in both vows and ambience. The couple’s pastor and friend, Tony Suarez, officiated the wedding making the moment even more intimate. The stage was decorated with gorgeous floral and candlelight placed in front of a hand crafted wooden cross.
One of our favorite caterers, Terra Catering provided the delicious farm to table cuisine! Best Beverage Catering provided the bar services.
IM Photobooths was a hit for the cocktail hour offering an array of props for their fun stop. Guests stopped by throughout the night to take their personalized photos as a reminder of Ricardo and Claudia’s wedding day!
Tostilocos is a favorite of Claudia and Ricardo’s; so of course they had a tostilocos table for their guests! Tostilocos are tostitos with garnishes including peanuts, chile, lemon and chamoy sauce. There were also tasty bites of different savory snacks. Gaby’s Sweet Creations designed this amazing latin inspired station for the wedding. It was a popular area for guests!
Moniker warehouse was completely transformed into a magical and breathtaking place on our design boards, but was even more incredible when brought to life! The rentals provided by Platinum Party Rentals looked impeccable in the space; especially the farm tables.
A big thank you to the talented, Leah Bloom of BeSpoke who truly brought the place to life with all the amazing floral pieces.
A good friend of the couple, DJ Johnny P provided the music and emcee services for the wedding. The officiant, Tony also shared a blessing of the food prior to dinner which was really special for the group!
The dessert table was extravagant and offered something for every palette. It was almost overflowing with the amount of sweets and the large variety to choose from! The cake from Kuba Kreations was surrounded by an eclectic variety of sweets from Sweet Revenge Bakery.
