A beautiful wedding, a sweet bride and a group of wonderful guests are some of the ways I would describe the wedding of April and Troy. The color palette of soft ivories, greys and greens brought the design of the wedding day all together. It was a very special day for the couple for a few reasons. The couple included lucky money in the wedding favors for their guests who traveled from all over to share this special day with them! The lucky money was every dollar tip that April had made in her younger days that she had been saving in a shoe box for her wedding day. April had been dreaming of her wedding since she was a little girl, however, at one point during their relationship Troy mentioned that he would “never” get married!
April and her bridesmaids started their morning together with a delicious breakfast while getting all dolled up for the day. The bride looked stunning in her elegant and intricate wedding gown.
Troy spent the morning getting ready with family and friends in the bridal party. This close knit group bonded, ate, prayed and spent some amazing time together. The talented teams from Garrett Richardson Photography and West Coast Wedding Cinema spent the day with this wonderful group, capturing every moment.
The couple enjoyed a first look while exchanging gifts. The joy on their faces was priceless and so incredibly special. The couple spent some time with their wedding party and immediate family taking photos on the beautiful grounds of The Dana.
The floral by TessFresh included a timeless style at the ceremony with a draped, wooden arch adorned with garden like floral pieces. G Sharp Entertainment played the upbeat and fun music for the ceremony. The cheerful flower girl handed out white roses to wedding guests along the aisle as she entered the ceremony that was to be officiated by the groom’s brother, Matthew. The couple read love letters that they had written to one another which was the highlight of their vows! During the ceremony, the couple asked their mothers to participate in their sand ceremony to symbolize the joining of the two families.
While guests enjoyed mocktails, alcohol free cocktails, the couple spent some time taking photos with one another and their extended families. Prior to dinner, Troy bustled April’s dress for her which was the cutest!
Farm tables, natural elements and wooden touches styled the dinner area. TessFresh Floral curated the gorgeous floral with an ivory, grey, and green palette.
The dinner reception included delicate details of wooden table numbers, signage, candle light, a polaroid station and a memorial photo collage.
Their personalized hashtag, #troprilforever, was a hit!
The cake and cupcakes by Jenny Wenny were so pretty and delicious! The cute cake topper read “always” with an assortment of cupcakes spread out on each side of the two tiered cake.
The sweetheart table included greenery runners and a lounge seat for the two lovebirds.
Dinner time began with April saying a blessing over the meal. Market lighting covered the lawn adding a romantic element. G Sharp Entertainment continued his wonderful music for the dinner as guests enjoyed an array of delectable bites. The tables had the adorable marble place cards for the guests could take home! There was a very significant table entitled Heaven with photos of those who had passed away who were close to the couple’s hearts.
The couple snuck away for sunset photos and before returning to their spectacular guests! The toasts were a very intimate time when special guests poured out their hearts and shared so many extraordinary things about April and Troy.
To acknowledge her heritage, April chose to give away wedding favors of special scented candles with a Chinese envelope wrapped around which include dollars from Aprils wedding savings. Everyone in attendance had a phenomenal time celebrating with April and Troy!
We thank you both April and Troy for allowing us to come alongside and make your wedding dream a reality!
