Coronado + Imperial Beach Romance

The ceremony of Jennifer and Johnny was held at the breathtaking Centennial Park in Coronado. It was a gorgeous, sunny summer day! The location had a beautiful backdrop of downtown San Diego which was perfect. Concepts Events provided the chairs for the ceremony while Flora Glamor dressed up the stunning location with exquisite floral.

Jennifer and Johnny’s sons, Jacob (5) and Jayce (3), made the most adorable ring bearers and Johnny’s nieces Juliet and Amaya were precious flower girls!! Johnny teared up as his bride approached him and the love between the pair was felt by everyone. Chad Richards of Socal Officiant married the two lovebirds and guests blew bubbles as the newly pronounced husband and wife walked down the aisle! Johnny went from teary eyed at the beginning of the ceremony to thrilled after finally marrying the love of his life.

Photo Time

Following the ceremony, the couple and their families savored some time in Coronado for photos. The bridal party showed off their fun personalities by striking a few poses alongside the bride and groom!

Jacob and Jayce looked so happy, and let’s not forget handsome, with their boutonnieres and suspenders standing with their parents for photos.

Jennifer and Johnny took some time to themselves afterwards walking along the docks arm-in-arm sharing blissful glances, smiles, and a few kisses before heading to the reception.

The elegance of a blush, rose, and white color scheme set the tone for the design. Concepts Events styled the venue with an elegant white dance floor, linens, and the couple’s lounge seating.

Rose sashes and napkins adorned the tables and chairs with hints of gold throughout the evening. Ceilings were draped with beautiful chandeliers coming down above the tables. Clear gold beaded chargers and floral looked spectacular with favors of small boxes of candies.

The cocktail hour and reception took place at Fiesta Hall, a large event space that comfortably accommodated their over 200 guests. Seating was reserved for close family members while remaining guests were able to sit and mingle wherever they pleased. There were plenty of tables, as well as, a lounge area where guests could hang out. Cocktails and the appetizer station were enjoyed while guests awaited the bridal party’s arrival. There was also an amazing inflatable photo booth for guests which served as a unique photo guest book!

After cocktail hour the reception kicked off with the grand entrance – you could feel the excitement from the whole bridal party as Hurricane Andrew and Billy Blast of 92.5 created a party atmosphere for the evening!

The wedding was very kid-friendly and all the kids had a blast dancing, eating and taking photos. A slideshow of the couple’s relationship was shown during dinner and was a personal touch that guests loved!  Toasts were given to the couple at their sweetheart table which was up on a grand stage in the front of the hall. You could feel the love in the room as they spoke about Jennifer and Johnny.

The cake table backdrop was a paper flower display that was created by one of the brides close friends. It was beautiful and a nice personal touch for the cake curated by Flour Power. Guests not only enjoyed the cake and the cupcakes, but a full candy buffet full of Mexican treats as well.

Guests of all ages were on the dance floor having a great time! This was definitely a party crowd! Hurricane Andrew + Billy Blast from the local radio station, Magic 92.5 mixed the music for the celebration.
