Andrew and Emma were married at Green Acre Campus Pointe in La Jolla, California. The wedding style was romantic and natural with special elements celebrating their culture throughout the day. It was a lovely celebration!
The Pretty Stuff
Emma and her ladies began the day getting dolled up by Andrea of Unique and Flawless. Wearing matching robes and with champagne in hand, they shared some wonderful time together before the ceremony.
The couple stole a few moments away for their first look and it was so romantic!
The couple enjoyed their American wedding ceremony which was officiated by their close friend, Cooper. The bridal party entered in couples as well as, the adorable flower girl and ring bearer. The ring bearer sported a bow tie while the flower girl wore a beautiful, floral crown.
The bride walked down the aisle in an elegant, lace gown looking absolutely stunning as she was escorted in by her father. The guests were seated under a magnificent trellis of greenery as the couple exchanged vows.
After the American wedding ceremony guests were escorted inside. During cocktail hour the couple enjoyed a tea ceremony with their immediate family members and elders. Andrew and Emma wore traditional gowns during this ceremony which was a very important part of their day to honor their families! The tea ceremony represents respect – it is how the couple shows their gratitude to their parents for everything they have done for them.
The naturally styled venue was decorated up by Bright Rentals and Societe Flowers. The floral included greens, ivories and pinks in a lovely garden style.
Eucalyptus floral runners dressed up the farm tables along with menus, chargers, pins and napkins placed perfectly at each setting.
Photos of the couple and signage accented the site displaying Andrew and Emma’s personalities. Our favorite sign read, “He stole her heart. She stole his last name”!
The bridal party kicked off the reception by entering the room dancing and laughing which created a very fun atmosphere for the evening! The couple welcomed their guests with a heartfelt speech. Afterwards they were able to sneak away for a few beautiful sunset photos prior to greeting all their guests at their tables. My DJs did a fabulous job at djing the entire night!
Babycakes designed the yummy cake which was a two tier tres leche cake. It had a semi-naked frost with flowers placed ascending the tiers to go with the natural aesthetic of the evening. This along with other delicious desserts made up a beautiful display spread across wooden platters.
Andrew and Emma had a great time with their guests! They danced, laughed and celebrated their marriage with their closest family and friends.
Everyone had a great time in the photobooth brought in by Sweet Day Studio – the guests tried to fit as many people as they could into their fun keepsake photos! As the night went on, toasts were given by the bridal party and the couple loved all of their sweet sentiments. Throughout this wedding it became clear just how much Andrew and Emma appreciate the people in their lives that lead them to this moment. They even gave away their exquisite centerpieces to their family and friends. This incredible event was photographed and filmed by the lovely team of Sweet Day Studio providing the couple with amazing memories to look back on! See their gorgeous video here.
