Lisa and Matt were such an adorable couple and I was so happy when they chose At Your Side Planning to design and plan their wedding! This beautiful couple loves traveling, family, God, and life. So much about them really resonated with me. It was an honor to come on board for their wedding design and planning.

Built in 1908, the Inn was designed with the simple, classic lines of an Italian Renaissance style. Tim & Kortney were the kindest couple we have had the pleasure of designing with! This couple based in Northern California had secured a gorgeous venue, the Admiral Kidd Club, with the best view of San Diego! We loved meeting with Tim, Kortney and their family as they visited our wonderful city for their destination wedding. It was a great experience working alongside this couple during the designing and planning of their wedding day.
The morning of the wedding, Tim & Kortney enjoyed preparing for their day at the Hilton Garden Inn located in Old Town, San Diego. This hotel is a gem in such a historical part of the city. Kortney spent time with her ladies – even her grandmother joined in the fun – while Tim was with his groomsmen. Ellie, of A New Twist, dolled up the ladies with her talented hair and makeup services and they looked amazing! Continue reading
The wedding of Ken and Joyce was so much fun! The couple enjoyed the company of their bridal party at the Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa the morning of their wedding day. The ladies and gents had a fabulous time together on the lush grounds of the hotel. The color palette of their attire consisted of blues and blushes that looked spectacular on these gorgeous people! The wonderful team of Wilber Studios joined the group to capture every moment from start to finish.

A beautiful wedding, a sweet bride and a group of wonderful guests are some of the ways I would describe the wedding of April and Troy. The color palette of soft ivories, greys and greens brought the design of the wedding day all together. It was a very special day for the couple for a few reasons. The couple included lucky money in the wedding favors for their guests who traveled from all over to share this special day with them! The lucky money was every dollar tip that April had made in her younger days that she had been saving in a shoe box for her wedding day. April had been dreaming of her wedding since she was a little girl, however, at one point during their relationship Troy mentioned that he would “never” get married!

They picked the iconic, Hotel Del Coronado for their wedding and their day could not have been any more perfect. This hotel was built in 1888 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1977. Hotel del Coronado is a huge part of Coronado’s and San Diego’s history. Tourists from all around the world come to see this hotel when visiting San Diego.
First Look + Ceremony
Megan and Ben’s wedding day showed just what a fun, down to earth, and a special couple they are! They chose the historical Mission San Diego De Alcala church as the place to exchange their vows. The Mission was the first of the California Missions built and holds a great amount of our San Diego history in its beauty! Full of culture and a rich history, this site was also the church Ben’s parents were married in and Megan’s sister. So the church held a special place in the both families’ hearts.
Megan and Ben opted to have their first look prior to the ceremony on the beautiful landscaped grounds of the Mission. Continue reading
