A Romantic Wedding at Hilton San Diego Bayfront

Ceremonies

Victoria and Jacky’s elegance and style was reflected in their San Diego wedding day. The Hilton Bayfront was a fitting host for their celebration.

To celebrate their Chinese and Filipino cultures, the couple held a tea ceremony, serving their parents tea, an act of unifying the families. The two looked beautiful in their cultural wedding attire, a red silk suite and dress with golden details.

The traditional wedding ceremony was held on the Promenade Plaza, with a beautiful backdrop of the San Diego bay. Chic Flowers formed their spectacular ceremony wedding arch, with matching floral arrangements that lined the aisle.

Wedding guests were greeted with a welcome table which held fans for guests to keep cool, ceremony programs, an acrylic card box, and a guestbook where guests signed a wooden heart.

The groom chose to walk halfway down the aisle with his dad and halfway with his mom, adding a personal touch. And instead of traditional flower girls, they had amusing (full-grown) flower boys who dropped petals from their fanny packs during their choreographed processional!

A True Ballroom

While wedding guests enjoyed the cocktail hour, the newlyweds had their own private grand reveal, a lovely chance for just the newlyweds to appreciate their reception space completely before guests entered. The dance floor was wrapped in white and a gold logo of their initials.

Once the wedding guests sat, the grand entrance was split between the guys and girls of the wedding party. Each wedding party group had a choreographed dance that filled the room with energy! Victoria and Jacky took to the dance floor with their first dance, a magical moment with effects from 3 Style DJs; fog that surrounded the couple and perfectly timed sparklers.

Table Arrangements

The guest tables were decorated gorgeously in gold. The circular tables were designed with tall floral arrangements on gold stands, gold detailed chargers, gold name tags, and gold acrylic table numbers.

The sweetheart table was nothing short of spectacular also; standing against a rose wall and a neon Mr & Mrs sign, and decorated with the repurposed wedding arch, candles, toasting flutes, and chair sashes.

The beautiful cake table matched the rest of the gorgeous setup.

Wedding Evening

Soon the bride changed into her evening wedding gown, a silky white halter dress that shined beautifully in the evening camera. The bride’s sister performed with a band, providing performances and music! The best part was the couple’s surprise; singing three songs with the band, really getting into it and creating a fun moment for guests to watch.

All of the wedding guests were then invited outside and given sparklers! This made a wonderful photo op for the bride and groom, walking through their guests lined up with lit sparklers. Family and friends grabbed their cute favors of custom luggage tags which were displayed on a large wall for guests to take as they left, having enjoyed a day of contagious love and laughter!
