Santa Luz Romance

When I met with Jessica to talk about her wedding, I was thrilled. I have been friends with Jessica since 2008 and was ecstatic that she was engaged to Eliott, the love of her life! These two are a wonderful and sweet couple and I couldn’t have been happier for them. We quickly began on the planning and design… which turned out to be just breathtaking.

Bride (5)As guests arrived to the ceremony on the wedding day, they were taken aback by the astounding view.Jessica and Eliott selected a private estate in Santa Luz overlooking Carmel Valley to say their ‘I Dos’. Prior to the ceremony Jessica and Eliott had a few moments for a first touch. A first touch is a first look without seeing one another… only touching hands and exchanging words. It was a beautiful and intimate moment.

Bride (15)Jessica and Eliott made their lifelong commitment under a handcrafted arch courtesy of the groom’s father with a stunning backdrop.

Ceremony-1083The bridal party carried gorgeous bouquets designed and crafted by Sweet Ribbons, and the entire event was captured by the wonderfully talented Anjuli of Photography by Anjuli.

Bride (21)Thanks to the couple’s choice for a multifunctional venue, once the ceremony concluded the chairs were moved to reveal the dance floor! While guests enjoyed cocktail hour, they also captured the magic of the moment with Jessica and Eliott’s Photo station! What a fun and unique way to make the night unforgettable!

Getting Ready-0844During this time Jessica and Eliott were able to have some special alone time photos which turned out to be gorgeous.

El IndioBride (1) catered this affair and the food was delectable as always. The rentals from San Diego Party Rentals were complemented by the delicate linens from Sweet Ribbons. Laura from Sweet Ribbons has impeccable supplies and we love working with her!

Reception-1478All throughout the wedding there were simple rustic touches that gave the event an utterly romantic feel. Candles were scattered and adorned on every surface and walkway to light up the night. Atop every table were beautiful floral arrangements by Barliz Flowers. She incorporated the color scheme in a romantic way. Just look at the sweetheart table!

Reception-1462Jessica and Eliott also incorporated sweet thoughts onto wood pieces which completed the romantic style.

Getting Ready-0843Reception-1622Reception-1647Delicious Gluten Free treats were baked by Seattle’s own TNT Cupcakes. Both a 3 tier cake and cupcakes gave guests a delicious and healthy treat to snack on!

Reception-1656Guests danced the night away to the grooviest jams provided by Gus of Battleson Entertainment. He made sure to keep the party alive and guests spent the majority of the night on the dancefloor under strings of whimsical lights!
